Collar x Malice Guide

DOWNLOAD FULL GUIDE: CollarxMalice_SEMN Guide

Hello, hello! I’ve decided to post a complete guide for all of the available endings in Collar x Malice. This guide is based on a couple of Japanese resources which I’ve done my very best to translate and organize. I’ll update this post once I get my hands on the English version and know what the official translations are. For now, however, this should be enough to get you started! (EDIT: I’ve updated this post with the official translations and fixed some errors! I’ve also added a downloadable pdf!)

You can read my full, spoiler-free review of Collar x Malice here – but to summarize, I highly recommend this game!

A Few Notes About the Game

  • There are no gag endings in this game, and though some are much shorter than others, they are all interesting. You can skip many of the bad endings if you wish to, but I wouldn’t recommend doing so.
  • All routes in this game are completely separate and original, therefore scenes are rarely repeated except during the “common” route. This guide does point out useful places to save to reduce or eliminate any unnecessary repitition.
  • Occasionally you will come face to face with Trigger Mode. This is a timed mini-game that will have you pull the “trigger” of your gun when you lock on target. Occurances of Trigger Modes are indicated throughout the guide.
  • This guide has been made in flow chart format to make each route easy to follow. That being said, the images are quite large, so feel free to download them with this: CollarxMalice_SEMN Guide
  • This game is great, and I am confident enough to say that it is the best english translated Otome currently available, so enjoy!

IMPORTANT! This guide was based on amateur Japanese translations and contained mistakes. It has been updated for the official English translations, and should now be complete! Feel free to let me know if I’ve made any other errors.

Recommended Play Order

Mineo > Takeru > Kei > Kageyuki > Aiji

Mineo, Takeru, and Kei

I’ve grouped these three characters together because they share the same “common” route, though their individual branches are completely separate. They are color-coded as follows:

Mineo
MINEO
Takeru
TAKERU
Kei
KEI

CollarxMalice

Kageyuki and Aiji

These two routes are unlocked after you’ve played the first three, and follow a slightly different path, which is why I’ve grouped them together. Their routes are color-coded as follows:

Kageyuki
KAGEYUKI
Aiji
AIJI

There is an error in this guide. In order to get the second bad ending on the Aiji route you need to have Low Trust. Simply get one or two of the answers before the designated break wrong, and you’ll unlock that bad ending.
